Thanks for your email. It is interesting. I am also a direct descendant of Albert Bradt. Judah Bradt b. l786 m. William Waldron who eventually became early pioneers in the Adirondack Mountains (Warren Co. New York)
I have always felt a kinship of sort to the Native Americans and proof or not I've written a third novel titled "Threads An American Tapestry" the focus of the story being a woman living in New York early l700s who is the daughter of a Native American _Lenape and Dutch Settler. I think that after years of research my Mohawk Native American connection comes by the way of the Van Schaicks-long long ago in the l600s.
