Hi - you have the name of your ancestor slightly wrong. Aefje (could be found as Eva) Arentse Bradt married Claes Frederickse Van Patten. Claes is the shortened form of Nicolas. Frederickse is his patronymic, meaning his father's first name was Frederick.

Aefje's father is Arent Andriessen as you stated. Her husband wasn't born in Schenectady in 1641 because Schenectady didn't exist then.

Aefje was said to be 15 yrs old in NOv 1664 so that gives you a good idea of her birth year. The family likely moved to Schenectady circa 1662 and within a few years she md Claes.

In june 1664 Cleas and Isaac Cornelisse Swits leased a farm from Willem Teller for 6 years, including a house, barn, hayberg and 2 parcels of land, plus 8 horses, 10 cattle, 8 pigs. There's more in the list of what was to come with this lease. See Peter Christoph's book "Bradt: A Norwegian Family in America" for a chapter on Aefje and Claes.

Claes died Oct 3, 1728 age 87 yrs 5 mos, Aefje/Eva died Jan 23, 1728 age 78. I have no info on burials etc.
