ELDRED, Pa. - Norma J. Bradt of Eldred passed away Tuesday (June 4, 2013) at the Cuba Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Nov. 3, 1922, in Cambridge, Ohio, (Guernsey County) she was a daughter of the late Hobart and Gladys Thompkins Meighen.
She was married to Melvin Ingram, who predeceased her. Later, she married Richard C. Bradt, who also predeceased her.
Surviving are two sons, Allen Ingram of Olean, N.Y., and Charles Bradt of Bradford; a grandson, Allen Van Scoter of Eldred; two great-granddaughters, Brooke and Brenna; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Barb (Don) Tyler of Clarence, N.Y.; and dear friends, Bill and Carla Shaffer of Eldred.
In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by a stepson, Ronald Bradt; three brothers, Bernard, Arthur and Donald Meighen; and a sister, Martha Holub.
There will be no visitation.
Private funeral and committal services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., Olean. Pastor Bruce Ireland of Eldred will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville, N.Y.
