To the great granddaughter of Rose Bradt Rollo. My great grandmother Emma Elizabeth Bradt Phipps was a sister to Rose. Emma married Charles Phipps. I have some Bradt pictures, I am not sure if I have any with George and Catherine in them. One of the has written on the back. C. Bradt on Phipps farm, Pelee Island. I think I have a picture of Margaret Bradt with her son too. I will have to look and see. I will phone my sister to see if she has any pictures also.

My father was born and spent his younger years on Pelee. I was on the Island a couple of years ago with my sister. There is a mystery I have not figured out yet. Emma was married first to Charles Phipps, when he died she lived with Charles McNeil. When I was at the cemetery on Pelee I found Emma's gravestone. It had Charles McNeil as her husband. His death date was not filled out. However (I can't remember where in the cemetery) I found a gravestone for Charles McNeil with a death date. I am not sure if Emma is buried with Charles Phipps or Charles McNeil. I was not sure who to ask about that and I was only there for a day and a half, so it remains a mystery to me still.
