My grandmother Agnes Diana Brady came from Relaghbeg, Kells, Cavan to Bridgeport in 1909. She had 6 sisters and 2 brothers come from Cavan to Bridgeport between the years 1896 and 1909. One son Anthony stayed in Ireland with his father. All are children of Anthony Brady and Catherine Heery. None of the sons was an Edward however. They were Thomas, Mary, Rose, Terrance, Bridget, Catherine, Elizabeth, Anna, and Agnes. All the girls worked as servants for various lengths of time to well-to-do families around Brooklawn/Washington Avenues until they married and started their own homes. I realize this probably doesn't help you with your Edward question, but the Cavan, Bridgeport, and Brady was a combination too good to pass up. If you run across anything about any of the above, I'd love to know about it -- thanks!
