I have managed to trace my family to Jesse Bragg b. 1797, Braxton, VA, and Ida Dick (or Dicks) b. 1796, d/o David and Mary Dicks. Jesse and Ida were my GGGgrandparents. GGgrandparents: William Henry Bragg b. abt 1830 in VA and m. Phoebe Ellender Grieves, 24 Sept. 1856, Braxton, VA. Ggrandparents: Henry Jackson Bragg b. Feb. 1862 Braxton Co., WV and m. Emma J. Coger on 8 May 1884. Grandparents: Isaac Newton Bragg b. 1903 m. Minnie Belle Cochran b. 6 Mar 1908. Father: William Eugene Bragg b. 14 Oct. 1928. Do you have other info on this line that you would be willing to share? I have a Joseph Bragg as Jesse's father but no spouse for Joseph. This has been a difficult search and I do not have a lot of info. What I do have has been researched at the state archives in Charleston, WV. Thanks!!
