I don't have any information which suggests that any of my Braggs settled in Dallas but I'll tell you a little that I know. Maggie Bragg apparently was brought to Texas from Arkansas - she is there in 1870, along with three children: Adam, Reuben and Sallie. Adam (b. 1960, d. 1916)stayed in the Hockley, Sunnyside area until his death. He married Celeste Cole and they had six children together (each had other children with other mates): Roxie, Garrett, Hosea, Allen, Mable and Matt. I can find no information about Maggie nor her other two children. I know that Maggie worked as a housekeeper for a White family (Cheaneys) in Monaville, TX and probably died about 1910-1915, however I have not found any records.
