I find this to be in very bad taste to have Pam and Kevin's Obits on the same page. Kevin Brainard murdered Pam on Nov. 4 2007 in front of their two year daughter before committing suicide. The way the obits are posted it almost looks like they died in an accident together.

Thanks for pointing out the error. Their date of marriage was 26 Mar 1915.

He was the first husband of my great-aunt (she was 16 at the time of their marriage). I do not know if they divorced or if he died. She married her second husband, Ambrose F. White, 14 Jul 1917 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.

Beulah Belle Brainard Boyd Obit

BEULAH BELLE BRAINARD BOYD NOV 29, 1932 - MAR 16, 2009 Beulah Belle Brainard was born on November 29, 1932 in Howard, Kansas. Later her family moved out west and settled in Patterson, California. Bea (as she was known by many) attended Patterson high class of 1952, soon after graduation she moved in with one of her older sister's, Margaret and her husband to look for work. Later she met Chester G. Boyd, (of Newman, CA) who would be her husband of 53 years. Together they moved to San Jose, CA, where they would begin their life together. They have four children. Bea worked as a teachers aid at DJ Meyer Elementary School where her children attended. She had a real love for children and was involved in many organizations such as Boy Scouts of America and Camp Fire Girls. Her passions were many, including crocheting, arts and crafts and sewing. She was an excellent seamstress and taught many children how to knit, crochet, and sew. She spent countless hours reading and teaching her grandchildren. She loved dolls and learned how to make them herself, including the clothes; they were dressed from head to toe. Her love for camping and fishing led the family on many great adventures. She taught all of her children and grandchildren how to fish. She then began working for National Semiconductor, in Santa Clara, as a QA inspector, where she worked for many years. She took an early retirement, and was able to be home to babysit her grandchildren. In 2000 they retired to Rocklin, CA, where they have their home today. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Chester G. Boyd, and her 4 children, Gregory Boyd, of Orlando, FL, Brenda DeAguero, Lynda Thorsteinsson and Vickie Boyd, of Rocklin and her 9 grandchildren, Jason, Brandy, Greg, Arni, Lisa, Stephanie, Dallas, Kristinn Troy, and Riley. Her sister's, Leila Kirchoff, Leola Mello, Margret Santos, and Winifred Brainard, and her 2 brothers, Cliff and Leroy Brainard. The hole left in our hearts is large but her lessons and love for life will be carried on by her children and g randchildren. Many thanks to the Roseville Kaiser Hospital Staff, The Kaiser Hospice Team, Kathy, Brian, Edie, and her wonderful nurse, Cynthia. No services will be held per her request.www.modbee.com/obituaries
