Does anyone know who the parents of Jacob Brake (b. abt 1728/Scotland) where? I have them listed as Wilhelm Joseph Dietrich, Baron von Brake and Mauri Elizabeth Douglas, Lady Ailkinoch of Douglas. Mauri is supposed to be the daughter of James Douglas, 2nd Marquess of Douglas and Mary Ker. Does anyone have any proof of this? I can't find any info on either Mauri or Wilhelm and I can't place her as a daughter to James Douglas.

Any info would be helpful.
