Wm Heinrich, Matthias, Jacob -- Father's Ancestry?
William Heinrich B. and Matthias B. came to America on the ship "Two Brothers", landing at Philadelphia 15 Sep 1752. A third brother, Jacob B. came on the ship "Sally", landing at Philadelphia 04 Nov 1766. Their signatures and dates on their oath of allegiance made upon disembarking are recorded.
There are many links that show the father of Wm Heinrich, Matthias, and Jacob as:
"Friedrich Wilhelm Brandenburg", born 1701, died 1741 (killed at the Battle of Mollwitz, Silesia).
Does anyone have a good source for the parents of this "Friedrich Wilhelm Brandenburg"?

Some sources show his father as "Albrecht Friedrich of Brandenburg" (1671-1731) and mother "Marie Dorothea von Kurland (Courland)" (1684-1743).
Here's the rub.
In some links their marriage is shown as 30 Oct 1700, Charlottenburg, Berlin. A son "Friedrich Wilhelm" (b. 13 Aug 1701) would seem to work with that marriage date.
In other links their marriage is shown as 30 Oct 1703, same location. A son "Friedrich Wilhelm" (b. 13 Aug 1701) would not seem to work with that date, and in fact he is not listed as one of their children.

Does anyone have a firm source for the ancestry of "Friedrich Wilhelm Brandenburg" (1701-1741).
Apparently he's the father of the Brandenburgs who came to America in the middle 1700s and settled throughout Maryland and Kentucky.
It would be good to find a reliable source for his parentage.
Any ideas?
