Hi,
Thanks for contacting me with regard to the Brandt surname. However, given the information that you supplied me with, I can conclusively determine that our Brandt ancestors were not related. My ancestor was Tage Brandt, born in Hjorring, Denmark on 8th March 1909 and died 20th December 1966 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He was the only male child in his family as he had three sisters that he left in Denmark when he immigrated to Canada. His parents were Eleonora Hornboll Anderson (1887-1964) and Thomas Peter Brandt (1875-1950). I have a few sketchy details of our Danish family beyond Thomas and Eleonora, but I do know that there is a strong German thread through this family as Eleonora's father was born in Germany. If any of this sounds familiar to you or if I can be of any further help, please feel free to contact me again.
Regards,
Suzanna
