Rebecca is my great great great great grandmother. She married Archibald Hamilton (first Husband) somewhere between 1757 and 1759. She is the mother of Paul Hamilton IV, (only surviving son) Governor of South Carolina 1804 to 1806, and Secretary of War 1809-1813 under James Madison. I only have an approximate birth date for her, 1736.

Her second husband was John Peter, married around 1776, and they had two sons, William Bradford and John Peter.

At the end of the Revelutionary war, her son Paul found her living on her family plantation, Branford.

Does anyone have any information on Rebecca?
