My great-great- grandfather,John Jordan Braniff, came to Atchison Co., Ks in 1884 from Clearfield Co. or Blair Co. PA. His Father was Philip Braniff, his mother was Katherine Jordan. There were 11 children in the family. John's grandfather was Michael Braniff. He died in Cambria Co. PA about 1815. Could this be any connection to the Braniff's you were looking for?
