Hi Shannon,
I don't know whther or not we are related. My grandmother's sister, whose name was Mary Jane McCashin, married James Braniff. They were married in England in the late 1870s. They came to Pennsylvania in the early 1880s. I know that their oldest son was named Hugh, but he could not have been your grandfather as their son was born before 1880. Apparently, James and Mary Jane and their children left Pennsylvania in the early 1890s and moved west, possibly to Idaho. I have found no further record of them. If you know anything, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rosemarie
