I am intested in your comment regarding Matthew Brann being from Virginia and lived in Butler County, OH before moving to Indiana.

I am a descendant of Matthew Brann, b in VA, lived in Indiana. I have always assumed he was the same matthew from Butler County, but have never been able to prove it. Do you have any additonal information on the Matthew in your review of William's sons. My Matthew is thought to have been b in 1788 which would make him too young to have been in the Revolutionary War. However, could he have been the son of one of the brothers who were. I have never been able to document anything. My Matthew was married to Chrisitanna (unknown last name) who died and then he remarried Phoebe (unknown last name). I have not been able to document either marriage in Butler County, OH.

I would appreciate any information you might be able to provide.
