I'm looking for feedback on the following assumptions regarding William Brann, Sr.'s sons:
Nicholas, Jeremiah (by reference to his and window's successful pension claim), Edward, Matthew were brothers and served in the Revolutionary War
(Bounty Land Claim, Nicholas Brann heirs, April 23, 1855)
William Brann, Jr. (Census Records for Westmoreland Co., Virginia)
William Brann had 5 sons who served in the Revolutionary War
(Pension Claim, William Brann, Sr., March 6, 1834)
Possible other sons names: Andrew or Samuel (but not both). Virginia Continental Army gives names William, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Matthew, Andrew and Samuel (Edward is not named and only four of William Brann, Sr.'s "5 sons who served" are accounted for in Pension and Bounty Land Claims).
All were of Westmoreland County, Virginia.
