I am trying to find something about the Bransons of Georgia. My greatgrandfather, Alexander McDuffie Reid Branson, had family in Rome, Georgia. He had a brother named Singleton, and my grandfather,Uzzell Singleton Branson,was named for him. I think his father's name was Levi.
I would love to hear from anyone who might know about this family. A.M.R. Branson was a Methodist minister and one of his brothers was also, I believe.
