Minnie (Brasile) Ranaldi, 95, of Avon, died Wednesday, (December 3, 2003) in Avon. She was the widow of George E. Ranaldi, who died in 1992. A native and long time New Britain resident, she lived in Avon the past two years. Minnie was a member of South Congregational-First Baptist Church in New Britain and was a former member of Martha Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Joseph and Arlene Ranaldi of Naples, FL; Aurelio "Leo" and Mary Lou Ranaldi of Avon; Ronald and Sally Ranaldi of Simsbury; a brother, Paul Brasile and his wife, Irene of East Longmeadow, MA; a sister, Susan Carrarini of Plainville; eight grandchidlren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Philip, Louis, and James Brasile. Funeral services are Wednesday 11 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home.
