I see that Willie N. Brass is the brother of Abner and my husbands Great Grandfather. I also have found it interesting that some of the Brass's are also referred to as McBrass. However I wonder if that is a type, it could be the middle initial is M. and it was interpreted that way. Their mother is Loroza and I can't find anything about her.
Willie and Abner's father was John Brass 1816 -1905.

I find that whole family very interesting because of where they lived and what they did. My husband remembers hearing stories of the towns they lived in as they moved from one logging area to another. It appears when the logging companies moved they took the buildings with them.
