Jolene: The Wiard Brass Meemke Roos you mentioned- Wiard is the brother of my ggrandfather John W Brass... John W. also married a Meemke Roos and a third brother Ehme Brass also married a Meemke Roos. All 3 Meemke Roos girls were cousins. I have the "germans to america" CDs which tell when everyone came to this country. I can tell you that Wiard Brass arrived in this country Oct 12, 1872 on a ship called "Weser". He was 16 yrs old.
