I am seeking information on Ellen Brassell, sometimes spelled differently Brasil, Brazel born in Ireland circa 1837-1840 (1880 census says 1837-38 death cert. says 1840, neither has a birthdate.) She was born in Ireland & died in 1907 at 99 Carlton Ave., Brooklyn, NY.

Ellen's father, according to her death certificate, was Morris Brassell, her mother was also Ellen, no maiden name. Both born in Ireland.

Ellen married Charles Richard Nelson of England and they lived on Carlton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, where they raised children Charlotte, George T., Charles F., John J. & Jennie Nelson.
