I have traced my Breau family tree back to Renee Breaux born about 1602 in France. Throughout the years, the family changed the spelling of their name (but still the same family).

My grandmother, RoseAnna Breault (Breau) was born in Plattsburgh, New York 1874 and had many brothers and sisters also born in Plattsburgh, New York and buried in St. Peters Church.

I believe there may be a connection to our families (most of the Breaults are descended from Renee)
