Classification: Query
Surnames: Brault, Brau, Breau, Breault, Bro, Therrien, Richard
The birth record for an ancestor, Marie Louise THERIEN (b. 13 Jan 1887 in Lake, Cook Co., IL) shows parents as Jean-Baptiste THERIEN and "Philomarie Braull." I believe the mother's name should more correctly have been Philoméne BRAULT.
There is also a record of a Philoméne BRAULT (dau of Laurent and Phebée RICHARD BRAULT) marrying Jean-Baptiste THERRIEN (son of Jean-Baptiste and Félicité BRAULT THERRIEN) on 2 Aug 1864 in Stanford, Missisquoi, Quebec. I am trying to either prove or disprove that Jean-Baptiste and Philoméne were the parents of Marie Louise THERIEN and her older sisters, Phebe, Melida and Emma.
Do these names sound familiar? Can anyone help?
