i also saw your email on a posting for a alonzo keene who would have been my grandfather just wondering if you had any other info or anything you maybe able to supply. from what i can figure his father was barton keene???maine?? i would appreciate anything thank you for your time

I have just recently begun researching my surname and I am having quite a difficult time!! It seems that there are very few Brauntons out there.

Hi, just reading through the message boards, and was wondering if the william braunton you talk about is the same one in my tree,the william in my tree was the brother of my gr gr grandfather Samuel, William was born approx 1834 Devon, and married a Emma Haslet and moved to the usa,Had a son called ernest & a daughter called Banche,and maybe more.
William parents were James and Mary,

as far as i know we are the only family with the braunton Surname in Australia.
