there were a lot of brayman's from pa. my father and his brother were both born around lancaster,pa.. in 1910 and 1909, there father was stephen hazzard brayman and there mother was margaret irving, I don't know if they were born there,but they were married there. then after the boys were born moved to new york. the sons married when they were in their early 20's my father moved to new orleans,devorsed his wife and in 1953 married my cajun mother,his brother moved to florida in the 60's with his ife and kids, they are all deceased now. in researching the name I found that there were a lot of german jewish brayman's, some famous and notable and some not so.
