Do you have any records of your family being related to George
Washington Braymen/Brayman/Bramen/Braman? He spent much of his life in Penn. and Illinois with his birth place being up for grabs. Was John D. Brayman/-men related to him? Some say GWB was ashamed of Jewish heritage. Perhaps that explains the fact that he gave no parental names and claimed different birth locations on census documents with it proved necessary for ethnic cloaking.

GWB is SO confusing.
