Queen was a Konomihu Shasta. She was born in Old Etna at the Shasta village Ap-sok-kew'-o. She is buried at the Forks of Salmon at Butler Flat. Her Father was Mawima (A konomihu Chief at the Forks of Salmon-Shamnan). I am from Queen's Brother Kearney's line. She also had a sister named Tommie. Queen married Francis Brazille and had about 9 kids. I can get the info for you. You will want to get the 1928 roll applications for your family. They have them at the National archives. J.P. Harrington did a study on the Konomihu Shasta and interviewed Ellen Brazille Grant and her sister Susan Brazille. You can google Konomihu and should get a little more. There was a study done for the forest service and they translated 2,400 pages of Harrington's filed notes. I am trying to get a copy of that..Kathy
