I was wondering if anyone knew of the Breaus from Cocagne, NB? My great-grandfather Edoard Breau married my great-grandmother Genevieve Arseneau

In response to Roberta Cram's message, I'd like to say that my name is Claude Breau born in Montreal to Omer Breau from Cocagne and Germaine Girouard from Buctouche.
My dad's parents were Amede and Clara Cormier and his grandparents were Abraham and and Henriette, and his great grandfather was Romain. Some of Abraham's brothers were Phil(who died at 106 years old in the "80s), Jude and Marc.

Abraham or Henriette (which ever one is a breau) could be the brother or sister to my ggrandfather Edouard Breau, born in Cocagne in 1865. His father was Romain Breau and his wife was Francoise Melanson. Does this help? Do you have any information on your line? Thanks for responding to me...Robbie

Well I was just speaking to my mom who knows these things much better than I, since she grew up back east and as far as she knows, Abraham Breau died in 1941 in his 80'S. So, he would have been born around 1860.
His wife Henriette's maiden name was possibly Porrier

Olive Corimier married Thimothy Breau.
Olive's Parents were michael and Apoline Robichand. Thimothy and Olive were married
11-19,1850. prpbably in Cocagne but maybe Grande Digue. after they were married they lived in Breau Village where my grandfather
lionel breau(lt) was born. He was 1 of 12 children. There was a Marie breau who married a Francois Corimier. relation to Olive ?

My Grandfather Henri Breau was born in Breau Village in the mid 1880's. His father was Fabien Breau. I don't know his grandmother's name. Fabien Breau was married to Isabelle RICHARD. Henri was born 10 aug 1883 and married Marie-Anne Cormier on 1 apr 1907 in Rumford ME (St. John parish). I have all these people plus their ancestors in my database. I have also 5 children for Henri and would like very much to get in touch with you to complete the family tree on the more recent generations.
