There is no listing for a marriage for Lucas Breau and (Marie) Judith Martin in the Cocagne Register book that I have. I had tried to find it before I posted a reply to you the first time.
The book came from The American French Society in New Hampshire...the name is
New Brunswick Acadian Parish Registers
Cocagne
1800-1870
It was about $25 with postage and handling.
There are MANY years missing for the marriages....a footnote for the marriage section says that no marriages were recorded for the years 1800-1807; 1810-1831; 1834-1841;1860-1861. I personally wouldn't buy the book mostly for the marriages. There are only 5 Breau marriages listed.
I am curious where you found your Lucas on the 1920 US census....what city and state?
Can you tell me how you go back to Lucas? Maybe we Breau cousins can help you figure it out from there.
