When looking in the Doomsday Book for another town I decided to see if the town of Bredbury, Chesire was mentioned.

To my surprise it was!

In the book the town of Bredbury was written as Bretberie.

I obtained a copy of the actual page with Bretberie mentioned on it.

My Bredbury family immigrated from Cheshire / Lancashire in 1888 to New Zealand. I am willing to share information with fellow researchers.

I would be happy to speak to anyone who has questions.
