Both in Ireland and the US the formal name of Margaret is often refered as both Peggy & "Maggie".
Yes, my great grandparents were Andrew Hendrick & Margaret Breen. Margaret was the dau. of James Breen & Frances "Fanny" Barrett both of the Gorey area. Andrew was from Enniscorthy. All of these families were part of Father Thomas Hore's emigrant group and my part of the group settled in Fort Smith, Arkansas USA. Andrew & Margaret married in Fort Smith four to five years after their arrival.

Frances Barrett Breen's mother and father are buried in Toome Cemetery just outside of Camolin. I believe I have record on all the Barretts in Gorey. Never were a lot of Barretts in that area and have to assume they were related to my Barretts but can not firmly tie them to mine but still trying. No one carrying the Barrett name remains in the Gorey area but some descendents carrying other family names are there.
