My Gr.Gr was HANS??, AUTO-OTTO?? Maybe from hamburg?? got on ship with family and nephew; from Germany to Hawaii; those Breithaupts settled there; worked, bought land; AKA breithaupt Ranch in Naalehu, big island. My Dad was William(SONNY) Breithaupt Jr. 1932-1970. thank you!!

Would appreciate information on Lucas Breithaupt's ancesters in Germany. Also about his children Emma, Annie, William and Albert. My information is that he was born circa 1822 in Baden Germany. He married Suzanna Durand and settled in Quincy Illinois. I have reached a dead end in my research. Thank you.

I have finally finished posting my charts, etc. and am willing to search for any Breithaupts in my data base. Have about 4,000 names, with the largest number being European Breithaupts. My own line of American Breithaupts originally settled in Ohion, and have information on Louisiana Breithaupts also.

Am also developing a data base for unassociated Breithaupts, i.e those with definite connections to a family line, in order that sometime I might be able to make some connections and be a better resource for the Breithaupts. If you are interested in submitting information, please contact me; if you would like for me to do a search, please contact me. Even if I don't have info on your Breithaupt, I can add the name to the file for potential future connections.

My own line begins in Kreuzburg, Germany, with the earliest date being a death date of 1446. I have information on the Kreuzburg Family and the Dransfeld Family, with all of their Branches (although some branches are obviously incomplete at this time). How can we help each other?

Lucas Breithaupt of Diersburg,Baden circa1822 married to Susanna Durand. Children:Emma, Annie, William, Albert. Emma married a Stratmeyer, Annie a nun in New Orleans. William in the 1900 census was living in Quincy and married to Cora Spaulding. Louis, Lydia, Louisa Laidy Breithaupt lived with them, I don't know the relaationship. Children were William and Florence, my mother. Thanks for any help
