It looks like we are related through my 5th great grandfather. Johann Christian Kruger was the son of Christian Kruger and Marie Elisabeth Rehfeld. Christian was the brother of Peter Kruger, who was my 4th great grandfather.
By the way Kruger is the same as Krueger. The ue is substituted for the u with the umlat.

In reply to your post, my great,great,great grandparents were Christoph Floether & Anna Rosina Breitkreutz, from Poland. My research shows they had several children, including a Wilhelm. If you'd like to share info, please reply. I've just started researching this part of my tree, so any assistance from others would be greatly appreciated!

Do not know if this is important, but my Grandmothers name was Emma B.Greener, and I can remember her Mother and Father having farm in Rocky Ridge ,Ohio. I am seeking Greener relatives, and also Rupp. I do not recognize the name of Breitkreutz, but anything is possible when searching here. Many thanks.........pls respond.

I'm from Monroe County, WI - I'm really doing research on the Krueger family. I have Anne Rosine (Henrietta) Breitkreuz marriage to Johann Christian Krueger in Germany 4/28/1840 and he died before she came with her son, Frederich Ferdinand Krueger and family to Monroe Co, WI. Anne was to have been born in Sophienberg, Posen, Prussia. Her parents were Christian Breitkreuz and Anna Christina Gramss - according to LDS Batch # C926281, Dates 1781-1818. Are your Breitkreuz ancestors from the same parents?

Can I ask you a question? I am investigating a Breitkreuz who came from "Polen" also. Where is that? I know I sound terribly stupid, but when I searched for "Polen," I came up with "Poland". All of the rest of his documentation says he came from Germany. Is there a Polen inside of Germany? His name was Traugott, Fraugott, or Traugot. He also apparently went by Robert. He was married to Anna Maria Odenviller (Odenweller or something similar, perhaps Odenwalder) who was from Baden. I don't know if they were married before they came over or after. They were born about 1834. The family always said they were from Alsace Lorraine and Baden is across the river from France, so that seems to fit. If you can shed any light on this please do. I am searching for information on the family of Fritz and Louise (Lizzie) Breitkreutz, married in Washington County, TX, and moved at some point to the Hallsburg area in McLennan County. Fritz died in 1930 and Lizzie died in 1927. Both are buried in Frieden's Cemetery in Riesel, McLennan Co., TX. I have the following children listed for them: Adolph, Emma, Friedrich who died in Washington County, Robert, Gus, Martha,
Julius, Paul, Frieda, and Ruby. I am looking for more information on Gus, Martha, Julius, Paul, Frieda, and Ruby. I would also like to know if there were any other children. Any help would be appreciated.

I am researching a Malvina Breitkreutz B: 10 May 1873 in Wisner, Cummings, NE. She died 6 Apr 1942 in Ukiah, Mendocino, CA. She married Ferdinand Wickert 7 Nov 1892 in Wisner, Cummings, NE. They had 6 children; Fritz, Adolph, Mary, Emil, Agnes and Ernest. If anyone has more information on her or her husband I would greatly appreciate it. I have more information on their children I will be happy to share. Please e-mail me at wjbarker@bentonrea.com. I do beleive that at one time they lived in the Prosser, Benton, WA area and then moved to OR. I have heard a story through the family that Ferdinand was killed in the Prosser area from an accident with a team and wagon. I don't know if this is true I have been unable to find any positive proof of this.

You need to get a hold of Sandra Breitkreutz at sandraraejones@hotmail.com. She is the family historian and I would bet she'd enjoy hearing from you. Harvey is my husband's grandfather, and they had numerous children.

Thank you for your information. Harvey was buried in the Mart Cemetery in Mart, McLennan Co., TX, right? Also, did he only marry once? Did he only have three children? Who did they marry and did they have any children? Thanks again and God Bless.

I have an Adolph Carl Breitkreutz born 12/19/1898 & died 4/22/1950 in Marlin, Falls Co., TX. He was buried at Frieden's Cemetery in Riesel. He married Ellen May Petrich on 8/11/1920 at Frieden's E & R in Riesel. They had six children:
1) Erwin Karl Friedrich B: 5/21/21 in McLennan Co., TX;
M: Mary Lenoir
2) Heinrich Gustav Adolf B: 7/7/22 in McLennan Co., TX;
M: Rose Inez Strickland, 3 children, 11 grand, 12 great
3) Leon Julius M: Jane Hilbert?? - Resid.: Marlin, TX.;

I recently came across this name as a possible ancestor. Not much information, but here is what I have.

Auguste GRUETZMACHER, geb. BREITZKREUZ

Auguste would have been born bef. 1848, she had a daughter, Mathilda Auguste Gruetzmacher 20 Feb 1866, possibly in Brandenburg, Germany.
She possibly died 1887/1888.

Any information would be most welcome.

I have just started my family tree and my dad has his auntie's family passport. I have a Rosine Breitkreuz born in Polen, married to Christoph Flother (born 1795 in Polen). There is one child listed for them, Wilhelm Flother born 28 Aug 1839 in Paris.
If anyone knows any of these names please let me know.
