Seeking information on Joseph Breitung, date of birth June 17, 1902. Arrived Ellis Island (from Bremen, Germany) Jan. 10, 1924. Lived in Pennsylvania. Social Security records indicate he died in Fort Myers (Lee County) Florida in Sept. 1977.

Any information on his wife or children would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i dont think i can help you, but my grandmothers name was martha breitung her husband was irving breitung. my grandmothers maiden name was wahl. i dont know much more than that. sorry

I am seeking information concerning my great-grandfather Erich Breitung. He was married to Martha Henrietta Burmester Breitung and they had four children (Hans, Ilse, Edith and Gunther). They immigrated from Berlin, Germany and settled in the Los Angeles area. I believe he was a veterinarian.

I would appreciate any information that places him and/or his wife in Germany and any information concerning the timing and route of their immigration to the U.S.
