Ole Brekke was listed as an employee of my g-grandfather, Andreas/Andrew Christianson's grocery in a Faribault city directory. In a photo in a book on Fairbault, there is a photo of Ole Brekke's grocery so presumably, he took over the store after my g-grandfather got to old to run the store. This would have been about 1903 or so, because my ggfather was in a minn census in Ottertail Co. in 1905, living with his daughter and son-in-law.

I have been moving a lot recently, because of jobs, so all of my genealogy stuff is in boxes. I would scan that pic for you if I had the book handy. I would suggest you contact the Faribault historical society, because that's where I bought the book. They may have other info about Ole Brekke.
