Colonel Richard Pattinson was the Lieutenant-Governor of Heligoland from 1857-1863. His wife was Jessie Murray McQueen, who died suddenly at Bremen, Germany, on the 25th October 1858. Can anyone supply a newspaper reference of this even? She was the daughter of William McQueen of Edinburgh. Her body might have been sent to Edinburgh or possible buried in Bremen. Can someone find a cemetery record in Bremen? The family were Protestants (Anglican?).
