In response to your message. I have found the same info you have and am trying to connect to my family in the U.S.A. My grandfather, Robert Samuel Bren born 1864, came here from London in about 1865 with his family of 4 brothers as far as I can deduct. He was the son of an Alfred George Bren born 1850,son of Alfred Bren Born 1828, son of Charles Bren Born?? and Rebecca Packer from Reading, St. Lawrence, Berkshire, England. Charles and Rebecca were married on July 25, 1825. Rebecca born 1798 at same location. Other children of Charles and Rebecca were George (1826), Elizabeth (1830), Ann (1839). Check out familysearch.org in the IGI records of the british Isles. There may be some connection between Charles and John and also between Rebecca Packer and Isaac Packer. Charles may be John and Anns son (Sophia's brother) and if so his birthdate is 1795. all these names are from the above address. Issaac and Rebecca may be siblings also, not uncommon for siblings to marry other siblings in the same families. Sophia had another brother, Francis Bren born 1802. Sophia died May 11, 1874.
