Brender - Weissman connections

Looking for connections to Jossel (Joseph) and/or Adolf Weissman. Both families were from Sadagora, Austria. Max's parents were Samuel Brender and Rose (Rosie) Brender. Sam arrived in 1902 and in 1910 lived in Manhattan Ward 13. Jossel Weissman arrived in 1900 and went to live with an uncle Hersch(Henry?) Brender. On the same ship were Freide Itte Brender (Hersch's wife) and 3 of their children: Golde, Jankel Schmul and Rasle(?)

Adolf Weissman is Joseph's son and he and Max Brender were cousins. Max died in 2003. Adolf died in 1993.

Simon, if I didn't contact you when you first posted, please contact me if you still need information. I may have found another Brender relation, finally, and would like to share with you, since the Austria-Polish Kolbergs are Jewish, and most of the other Kolbergs are not.

Hello Bernie,
I have been working on my Frick family from Itzelberg and Königsbronn. I have just recieved some fun info. I have an Andreas Brender as the father to Anna Maria Maier b. 9-16-1808 in Schnaitheim. Andreas was a worker in a brewery. However, Andreas was not married to Anna's mother,Anna Maria Steinbuch nee Maier b. 5-16-1788 Schnaitheim d. 8-7-1830 Itzelberg. Anna Maier was adopted by Johannes Steinbuch, Bürger und Glaser in Itzelberg. This information is in the Taufbuch Schnaitheim. I was hoping that you might have information on Andreas. Anna Marie is my 4th great grandmother. She married Johann Wolfgang Frick Sr. of Itzelberg
Gerry

Hi Bernie,
The book from Königsbronn (1830) Parish Register. They should be family 56. I hope this will help. I did not know Andreas birth and death dates. now I know. I also understand that a Mr. Rudi Bahlinger, 76, 89550 Heidenheim-Aufhausen has more info on the Maier family. I have not written him yet.
Hope to hear from you on what you find.
Gerry
Hi Gerry
Guess in your 1st posting you mixed something up?
Andreas Brender is born on 24.Sept.1779 in Giengen and died
on 12.May 1835 in Giengen. He married Afra Schuster on
2.Nov.1831. Afra was born in 1794 and died 1838.
Andreas worked as a beerbrewer. I can`t find any connections
to Frick or Maier. If there are any ties from your side to
Andreas or another Brender, let me know to check the files
I have.
Regards Bernie

Hi, I'm emailing you from the UK where we've been desperately trying to find out more about the Brender family history. To date all we know is that our family originates from the Austria-Poland boarder but have not been sucessful in obtaining any other information. For this reason please could you be so kind as to send me the excel file talked about in your previous posting..

Kind Regards,

Simon Brender
