1930 Oregon Census record puts Rex Brendle living with his mom and sister, Florence and Jaunita. It says that Florence was born in 1881 in Idaho.

Idaho Marriage record says that Florence Thompson married Daniel Brendle in 1897.

1900 census record shows Florence and Daniel living together with a 2 year old son.

1910 census record shoes them with 3 children, (2 sons and a daughter)

Could not find 1920 census

1930 shows Florence with Rex and Jaunita (same daughter from 1910 census). Also it says in the 1930 census record that Rex's father was born in Ohio. Daniel Brendle from the 1900, 1910 census is from Ohio.
