STAMFORD — Mary Alice Brenn, 78, of Stamford, died Thursday evening, Nov. 26, at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown.
Arrangements are pending with Hall Funeral Home, Grand Gorge.

Maryalice Brenn
STAMFORD — Maryalice Brenn, 78, of Route 23, Grand Gorge Road, died Thursday, Nov 26, 1998, at M.I. Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown.
She was born Nov. 19, 1920, at Rhinebeck, the daughter of Rev. Roscoe and Alice (Bassford) Penny.
She was married to Forrest Brenn on Dec. 5, 1945, in Oneonta.
She has been a lifelong area resident, a graduate of Grand Gorge Central School and for many years she owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband.
Maryalice was a member of the Grange Gorge United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Forrest Brenn of Stamford; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Charles E. Brenn.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 1, 1998, at the Grand Gorge United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Martha Vink, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville.
Friends may call at the Hall Funeral Home in Grand Gorge at their convenience after 3 p.m. today. The family will be in attendance between 7 and 9 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Maryalice's memory to either the Stamford Baptist Church Bus Fund, 40 Lake St, Stamford, N.Y. 12167 or the R.A. Robinson Emergency Squad, Main Street, Stamford, N.Y. 12167.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Stamford-Grand Gorge.
