My grandfather was William Brenn brother to John Brenn of Parry Sound,Ontario. I grew up in Muskoka. This is the first time I hear that our family name had been changed. My grandfather was considered a home boy. Sent from England to work for a family in Canada. I have heard that they William and John were born in Reading England. In the 70's we had family come to visit from England. Have lost connection and any further history of our family. I have been to Germany and see that there are other Brenn's but not sure when our family left Germany. Interested in finding out more.

Father was Casper mother was Catherine. They are buried in the Fairbury, NE cemetary. His brother Frank was my gg-grandfather.

His father was Casper and mother was Catherine.
They are all buried in the cemetary in Fairbury, NE
I believe he was a doctor in the Western/Daykin, NE
area. He would be a great -great uncle to me.

My niece bought a book at an auction.It was presented to Miss Bena Roehl March 12 1886 by Mrs C. Schattgen in Carrollton,IL.There is an obit for John M.Ritter and mentions his step father Jacob Brenn.The Brenn family ran a large and famous hotel in western/central IL.They spent a great deal of time in Kampsville,IL,Calhoun county IL.Is anyone connected to this album

Caroline Brenn was my g-g-granmother she married Heinrich (Henry) Filsinger in St. Louis, Mo. in 1874, they resided in Chantilly, Mo until Henry's death in 1898ish when Caroline moved back to St. Louis. I am looking for her parentage and if she remarried as I am unable to loacte her after the 1900 census.Thanks,

I have been lead to beleive that my Great great grandfather was Frederick Brenn from Wentworth Ontario Canada. I am also looking for info on his family. I live in the wentworth area and was wondering if there is any more information on Frederick and Amelia.

This is also Nicole BRENN. Everything about my great-grandmother were true. Some of the things about my great-grandfather on the other hand were not:He was born in (Chicago?), Illinois. He went back and forth on a ship named(?) because he might have worked on the ship. He went back and forth at least four or five times to either Germany or Switzerland in the year (1904?) Im Looking for an Edward Brenn who came to New Orleans in the 1920's and married and had a son, my father, Maurice Brenn Sr., born on Spet. 30, 1926. My Grandmothers name was Mildred Wald, daughter of Andrew Wald and Kathrine Laumann of New Orleans. I have no information on Andrew Wald at all.

I am looking for the death date of my grandfather, Frederick William? Brenn born Nov. 16, 1873 in Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada. He died in Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario Canada. His parents were Frederick Brenn and Amelia Kraus who emigrated from Germany as children. Also looking for his marriage date to Margaret Rous born about Nov. 1880 in Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada. Would also like to know her parents. She had two brothers, Herb and Jack and a sister Jennie who married Edgar Dyment and lived in Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada

Hello we are looking for any info on our family tree. We believe that we are from Germany or Ireland. At one time aour name was spelt Brehn but changed after my grandfather and his brother came to Canada.

(Katie) Laumann in 1904, in
New Orleans. Andrew died on May 3, 1949, in
New Orleans. Andrew was the son of Joseph
Wald and Magdalena Schwartz.

Katie Laumann was the older sister of my
great-grandfather, Joseph Harold Laumann Sr.
She died in 1936, in New Orleans.

I have Mildred Wald as the wife of Henry
Emile Geisenheimer, and the mother of one
child, Henry Jr. If your mother was the
child of Mildred, she must have had a
female child.

I have more information on the Laumanns, and

I saw your message about the Rous family tree. I have met Rosmarie. Funny you should mention the book, as I am the person who updated it. I know there are Dyments in it, the earliest being born in 1937. The only Margaret Rous is Margaret Elizabeth (b Nov 15, 1919), daughter of Benjamin George Rous (b Feb 27, 1862).

Yes, my Father shortened his last name to Bren, but not legally. He was in T.V. and it behooved hime to shorten it. He passed away in 1990.

my great grandfathers name was Rudolf Brenn and his wife's name was Hedwig/Hattie Arnet. he was born in germany or switzerlandand and she was born in Chicago. Hattie was born 1898 and he was born around the same time. if you have any info on the names Arnet or Brenn please e mail me. THANX
