I was unaware of any Sicilian branch, I have heard there is some Northern European branch...but it is unclear if there is a connection. I am also interested in the origin of the name itself. The branch I can trace comes from a small town in the province of Potenza, San Fele, and appears to dead end there. Except for immigration to America, of course.
