From the Salt Lake Tribune [UT] 5-23-1999:

Maureen McKinnon Brennan

Maureen McKinnon Brennan, age 52, of Salt Lake City, made her transition to
a more peaceful place at the Wasatch Valley Rehabilitation Center, May 4,
1999, after coming through many years of trials and tribulations with great
strength, faith and an amazing sense of humor.
Maureen was born in California June 29, 1946, to John and Patricia Nevans
McKinnon. She was raised and educated in Helena. She graduated from
Cathedral High School in 1964 and later worked at the Boulder River School
and Hospital, where she took great pride in her duties until an injury on
Nov. 5, 1979, changed her future. From that time on she has lived for her
three children and four grandchildren. In addition to being a devoted mother
and "Nana," she was also a wonderful friend. She touched the lives of
everyone she met. The world will be different without her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Amy Brennan, who
was tragically killed in an automobile accident on May 25, 1986. Survivors
include her two daughters, Patricia A. Johnson and her husband, John and
children, J.T. Mikey and Patrick of Great Falls; Rita Brennan and her
daughter, Lynzee of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Margaret Corbett and her
husband, Tom and children, Alex Corbett, Chris and Marc Kosena of Helena;
Paula Kuberski and her husband, Patrick and their children, Michaela and
Chase Kuberski of Evergreen, Colorado.
There will be a Balloon Send-Off in remembrance of Maureen on Tues. 7 p.m.,
May 25, 1999 at the Wasatch Rehabilitation Center 2200 E. and 3300 S. The
family expresses special thanks to the rehabilitation staff at the
University of Utah Medical Center and wonderful caregivers at the Wasatch
Rehabilitation Center and the people at St. Jude Thaddeus Foundation.
