I am related to 2 groups of Brenners. The Brenners who settled in Lancaster County PA in the early 1700's and another group who settled in New York City in the 1850's from Baden. So I am a distant cousin. The relationship calculator in my genealogy program says we are 6th cousins twice removed.

Yes this is my family .Are you related to me ? My name is Robert William Brenner born 9/24/54 in Covington Ky.I now live in Tallahassee Fl. and I have 1 sister Jane Ann Brenner born 6/11/56 who lives in Franklin TN. and is married to David Vickers and they had 2 childern Hunter and Emily who passed away last year . Our parents were Robert and Estelle who are both passed away .I have 1 Daughter Rebecca Jane Brenner ( now Applegate )who lives between Hamilton and Cinn. Oh. I am the last of the Brenner name in this branch of the family as my fathers brothers had no childern .
I will try and get more info for you but it is difficult for me as I live far from other family members and I work all over the world and am gone all the time . I just returned from West Africa a week ago and will be leaving for Bogota Columbia in just a few days .

Do you have any other information on siblings of George or Jacob Brenner Sr.? Or possibly siblings of Johann George Brenner? I have Israel Brenner, b. 1822, m. to Hannah Wright and living in Manor Twp., Lancaster County, Pa. His son Albert m. Catherine Ortman and lived in Washington Boro, which is just north of Safe Harbor on the Susquehanna river.

I am searching for info on my g. grandparents Charles Brenner and his wife Anna Strafkamp/Strophcamp.
Charles and Anna would have been born around 1905. Charles is from Austria and Anna from Missouri.
I believe they had 7 children born after 1925: Charles, Robert, Maryann, James, Frank, Joyce, and Edward.

I am interested in finding this book . My father was Robert Brenner from Hamilton OH. and he worked for American Airlines and his father was Oscar Brenner who worked for the B&O railroad . I do know the family had came to Ohio from PA. I have meet Brenner's from Brenner Oil Co. in Holland MI.and Brenner Trailers in Reading PA. and also Bob and Sarah Brenner who own a restaurnt in Morris IL. We are all over and I want to learn more about the family .

Unfortunately I am unable to place your Israel Brenner withhin the Lancaster County Brenner families I'm familiar with. Most of my work has been focused on the earlier Brenner generations.

If you haven't done so, you probably should look for a baptism record for him at either Trinity Lutheran (in Lancaster Boro) or in a Lutheran church in Manor Twp. You will want to look as early as 1818, since he gave his age as 32 in the 1850 census. A look through the tax records may provide additional clues. Good luck.
