Both of my grandparents were from Mexico. My grandfather was named Armando. He lived in El Paso, Texas until he died in the early 1970's. His sons are Robert Francis (my father), Al, and Richard and all of us still live in El Paso. He also had one daughter, Alice who may still live in San Diego, CA. I believe Armando entered the United States sometime around 1925. He owned and operated a car repair garage located in downtown El Paso on Myrtle street for many years. All his children served in the US military, including his daughter Alice.
