Thank you so much for the information! This is more than we have ever known! I have not organized the George Brewen information yet, but let me start by telling you he had four children, one he supposed killed by accident which caused him to "leave town". The three survivors were William Martin, Anna, and Eileen. William's son was William Espey (he also had a sister Dorothy, known as Dot). William Espey had two sons Gary and Dale. Gary is my husband's father. There is much more but when I put is in the family tree I will email it to you. Thank you again!

James did have a brother named Eli, born about 1825 in Missouri. He went to California in the 1850's and settled in Contra Costa county. I have quite a bit of information on his family and his siblings, all 12 of them. Their brother, Moses, also had a son named Eli born about 1848 in Missouri. Would love to hear from you again.

Curious to know if William's son James had a brother named Eli, I believe born in St. Francois. If so, that would be my husband's great, great, great, grandfather. Please let me know what you know. Thank you!
Julie Brewen

I am researching the Pardee family line. Albert Pardee married a Julia Brewen who died giving birth to her son Julius Brewen Pardee. I have no information about Julia other than she is buried in Clyde, NY. I don't know if Albert met her in Connecticut where his family is originally from or in New York.

Anyone researching Brewen in New York or Connecticut?

Thanks!
