Hello There! An old and indirect rely to your enquiry,I'm afraid.
In 1979 I was a patient at St.Georges Hospital,Tooting,London SW17
I was a young teenager and was in a male surgical ward with many mainly much older men.
One who was particularly friendly and helpful was called Mr.Brick....Perhaps Henry? Harry?
His kindness and his unusual name has stuck in my mind since then.
The locality is correct for yur enquiry, and his age at that time (65-75) means that he could have been one of your great-uncles?
