Hi Enid. I live in Indiana,and am researching my Locke ancestors who came from Hampshire,England[around 1870's] to Burke and Catawba Co.,NC. Do you know any Lockes from Hampshire,England or North Carolina?

My grandmother's name was Brida; she was born in the Non Valley, at that time under the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

I was born John Philip Milton Bauldree, Jr. John Bridey and Effie Mae were my granparents.

My father passed away in 1995.

Granny's maiden name was Myers, and she was only half Cherokee from her mother's side.

Granny's eldest daughter Marietta lives in Holt, Florida.

I live in San Diego at this time.

Who are your parents?

All of our distant cousins live in Jay Florida.

Looking for family. My great-grandfather was an Assembly fo God minister in Winter Garden Florida. His wife was full blood Indian named Effie. I think her parents' names where John Mary Smith, both full blood Indian. If you know anything at all please e-mail me back. I think that Brida was he father's last name, but not sure because he never knew his father. Vivian
