Is your BRIDGEMAN from IRELAND?

Ok, so I've had no luck backtracking to Ireland, so I thought I would try this. Is your Bridgeman relative from Ireland and if so do you know "where abouts" in Ireland. My relatives Mark and Elizabeth landed and stayed in NYC circa 1846. Thanks for your input!
