My ggggrampa was James Madison Bridges (b.1821 in Tenn.) His oldest brother was Gilford (b. 1809) They, along with another brother, Henry, left Tennesse and migrated to Missouri where my branch stayed for a couple of generations. Returning to Missouri after serving for the south in the civil war, Gilford took his family to Texas. He is buried near Austin and has descendants there. I am in contact with one of them. My line moved west to Yakima, Washington around 1910. I am looking for living people in my line.
